MARCH 2021 SHIPPING UPDATE
The postal system is getting back to normal & we continue to use DHL, UPS & the Royal Mail. The chosen carrier depends on order size & location.
We are shipping everything as quickly as possible. In the UK, if you require something with a guaranteed delivery time please choose 'Next Day Delivery'.
We are shipping all orders as normal but please understand that overseas delivery times are not as fast as usual, as a result of the ongoing pandemic around the world. Orders shipped without tracking may take as long as 4 weeks, potentially longer. We strongly recommend paying a little more and opting to have a tracking number, you will see this option on checkout. We will do our utmost to ship heavier orders with a courier (UPS etc) to ensure a speedier delivery.
On 1st January the UK left the EU. The implication of this is that our European customers are likely to be charged import tax. This amount varies depending on the value of the order, typically it will be 20%, but the recipient of the goods is responsible for the payment of these charges.
All small businesses are adjusting to these changes. We are sorry for the inconvenience & will do everything we can to keep things running smoothly.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 working days, unless UK Special Delivery is chosen. Delivery time after that varies with your chosen method of shipping.
Our packing supplies are biodegradable boxes, envelopes & bubble wrap.
We do not make profit from our P&P, all prices are based on current Royal Mail guidelines. VAT is added onto the postage costs for UK & Europe. Consequently the amount seen on your parcel may differ from the amount you were charged.

COLLECT FROM STORE
You can collect from our London store by choosing this option on checkout. When your order is ready for collection we will contact you to let you know. Collection is available only on weekdays, sorry for any inconvenience.
1st Class: We aim to send all 1st class orders within 3 working days of the order being placed. Typically it will then arrive the next day but can take longer.
Royal Mail evaluate shipping price on size & weight. Occasionally some items will travel without tracking. This flexibility allows us to keep postage prices as low as possible without actually affecting the speed with which you receive them.
It is standard practice for all orders over £35 to travel with tracking.
Upgrade to Special Delivery for a speedier arrival. Orders placed before 3pm will arrive next day, except those placed on Friday/Saturday which will arrive on Monday.
Europe Airmail: Cost effective with a delivery time of approx. 5-7 working days.
Europe Airmail Special: Updgrade to this service at an additional cost. You will get a tracking number and delivery time will be approx. 4-5 working days.
WORLDWIDE SHIPPING (PLEASE SEE OPPOSITE FOR UPDATE)
World Airmail: Cost effective with a delivery time of approx. 10-12 working days.
World Airmail Special: Upgrade to this service at an additional cost. You will get a tracking number and delivery time will be approx. 7 working days, depending on customs clearance. Carrier may vary.
We do hope that you are very happy with what you receive. If you are not then please get in touch. You must return the order to us, in its original condition, within 28 days in order to get an exchange or refund. Items that return in an unsellable condition will not be refunded.
Any returned items will be refunded immediately minus the cost of the initial postage fee. Any faulty items must be returned to us before a replacement or refund is provided. We will only replace with the same item.
We are unable to refund on any personalised items as it will not be possible for us to restock these. This excludes damaged items.
If you do send items back then please use a secure postage method, so that you can trace where the package is. The item is your responsibility until we receive it.
We are doing our utmost to reduce packaging waste. Currently all of our shipment packaging is paper based or compostable. Our aim is to protect the product & not add anything superfluous.

Vintage electrical items are sold in full working order. Our electrical goods are all PAT tested for safety.
